Meet the Doctors
Dr. Gustavo A. Martell M.D.
As an El Paso native, Dr. Martell knows the importance of keeping his community healthy. He graduated from Bel Air High School, class of 1982 and “Honered EX” in 1999. He gained his B.S. degree at U.T.E.P. and his M.D. at U.T.M.B. in Galveston, Texas. He is fluent in Spanish and specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified. He has been voted as “Texas Top Doc” as well as “El Paso’s Best” by his peers. Dr. Martell has served as chairman of the Ob-Gyn Department as well as chairman of the Credentials Committee and Secretary of the Medical Executive Committee. He now is currently on the Board of Medical Directors at Del Sol Medical Center and at United Bank of El Paso Del Norte. He has chaired the Women’s Health Symposium for the past eight years.
Dr. David E. Monticone D.O
Another El Paso native who is fluent in Spanish and determined to care for the women in the surrounding community, Dr. Monticone graduated from Eastwood High School in 1977. Shortly after, he earned his B.S. at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University. He has the distinction of being included in the “Best Doctors in America” database. He has been the chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and is active in organizing the Annual Del Sol Women’s Health Symposium. His specialty is Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified. Dr. Monticone has been nominated twice for “Doctor of the Year” at Del Sol Medical Center.
Yuki Goya MSN, R.N. C-WHNP
Licensed and certified as a women’s health nurse practitioner, she provided individualized and comprehensive care to women of all ages. Her experience, compassion, and kind demeanor transcend the traditional patient-provider relationship. Her goal is to establish a trusting, confidential and personal relationship with each patient with a special interest in teen care. Yuki is also fluent in Spanish and Japanese.
